CWD Consulting LLC (CWD) is an engineering consulting firm providing instrumentation and controls engineering services primarily for water and wastewater facilities. The firm was founded in 2011 by Christopher DiDio, PE, who has over 28 years of engineering experience serving clients in the Baltimore/Washington area. CWD’s I&C-related services range from Master Planning, to Detailed Design, Program Management, and Construction Management. The firm fills a unique niche in meeting clients’ needs with their combined knowledge of I&C and water/wastewater treatment processes.

CWD excels in representing owners’ interests as they navigate through major process control system upgrade and replacement projects. Experience in such projects includes planning, PCS supplier pre-qualification and selection, scope development, design, construction oversite, testing, and optimization.
